Koo Hye Sun is firing back amid recent episodes of Hearts On Wheels featuring her ex-husband Ahn Jae Hyun.
The controversy began shortly after Koo Hye Sun publicly slammed Ahn Jae Hyun and his TV shows for trivializing their bitter 2020 divorce. Now, actress Lee Min Jung stirred the pot by openly discussing Ahn Jae Hyun’s dating life on Hearts On Wheels.
On the August 8, 2025 episode, Lee Min Jung urged Ahn Jae Hyun to start dating again. After Boom commented on how “lonely” the actor must be, Lee Min Jung said she’d “check out” Ahn Jae Hyun’s next girlfriend to see if she’d be a good match.
Lee Min Jung told him:
“I don’t want to sound mean or anything, but while you’re single…? Each day is precious. I’m not saying you must date someone, but I don’t want you to waste your time.”
Earlier, Lee Min Jung gifted Ahn Jae Hyun two bottles of perfume with a card saying:

Viewers quickly connected Lee Min Jung’s support for Ahn Jae Hyun’s dating with Koo Hye Sun’s recent Instagram post expressing discomfort over Ahn Jae Hyun mentioning their divorce.

Many now believe recent Hearts On Wheels episodes triggered Koo Hye Sun’s lash out.
