As One’s Lee Min has passed away suddenly.
On August 5, Lee Min (46) was found dead in her home. Police are investigating the cause of death.
Agency Brand New Music told Dispatch on August 6:
“Please refrain from making excessive speculation until the results are out.”
An industry insider said Lee Min was active until recently. She released a new single, Happy Birthday, in June and appeared on KBS’s Park Bogum’s Cantabile.
A longtime acquaintance said:
“She was such a positive friend. It’s hard to believe this has happened as she was having so much fun promoting after such a long time.”
Lee Min was balancing work as a singer and instructor until recently. Another acquaintance added:
“I met her last week. She was truly a dedicated friend.”
Lee Min debuted in 1999 as a member of female duo As One.
