Yubin shocked fans by revealing she never wanted to join JYP Entertainment.

Yubin:
I just wasn’t that JYP style back then.
She added that despite spending many years at JYP and becoming “JYP to the bone,” joining the company was never part of her plan.
Yubin:
Because I spent so many years there… JYP to the bone. But I never imagined I’d end up at JYP.
Yubin also confessed she originally dreamed of joining the other “Big 3” companies — SM Entertainment or YG Entertainment — not JYP.
Yubin:
Because originally, I… I guess I can say it here. I really never once thought, “I want to go into JYP.” I think this is the first time I’m saying this. But I wanted to go to SM or YG. I never thought of JYP.
