Liz from IVE is set to make her ceremonial first pitch debut. The exciting event takes place at the LG Twins home game on June 29 at Jamsil Baseball Stadium.
The LG Twins will host a three-game series against the Kia Tigers from June 27 to 29, with Liz throwing the first pitch during the final game.
"I’m truly honored and thrilled to be throwing my first pitch with the LG Twins,” Liz said. “Thank you so much for this amazing opportunity. I’m very excited and nervous at the same time. I’ll give it my all and throw with a heart full of support. Let’s go, LG Twins!”
This will be Liz’s first official pitch at a professional game. She previously participated in a mock pitch segment on JTBC’s variety show ‘A Clean Sweep’ with fellow IVE member Yujin back in February.
The June 29 event will also celebrate ‘Return of Invincible Maru Day,’ featuring activities with popular Naver Webtoon characters.
Meanwhile, IVE continues to engage fans through their reality series ‘1.2.3 IVE Season 6,’ airing every Friday at 7:30 PM KST.
