Yena is facing backlash after a recent clip featuring Super Junior’s Eunhyuk and Shindong went viral for questionable comments.
The clip shows Eunhyuk and Shindong disguising their voices to play a guessing game with Yena. They called her “noona” to confuse her since they’re older idols, but Yena correctly guessed they were idols.
Things took a turn after Yena mentioned “Music Bank.” Eunhyuk joked the only bank he knew was Kookmin Bank. Then Shindong shocked everyone by saying:
Shindong: I went to a sperm bank yesterday.
Yena: Huh? What? What did you say?
Yena reacted by saying, “Wait, can you even say that? I don’t think you’re an idol.” Meanwhile, Eunhyuk and Shindong laughed at the remark.
Netizens quickly condemned Shindong’s comment as inappropriate:
“Can Yena invite more women to the broadcast? The audience doesn’t want to see her being sexually harassed.”
“Is the production team sure that what Shindong said is something that should be aired? You don’t say things like that to a female idol…”
“Delete it and apologize to Yena.”
International fans also expressed disapproval, criticizing Shindong’s remark as crossing a line.
The clip continues to circulate, leaving fans divided and demanding accountability. Watch the full clip here.
