NCT’s Mark has successfully wrapped up his inaugural solo showcase tour in Japan. From May 15th to 19th KST, Mark performed at sold-out venues in Yokohama, Nagoya, and Osaka as part of his showcase titled, ‘The Firstfruit SHOWCASE LIVE in JAPAN’.
The tour concluded in Nagoya, where he delivered performances of tracks from his debut solo album, ‘The Firstfruit’, including fan favorites like "Righteous," "Raincouver," and "Too Much." The highlight of the tour was his rendition of the title track "1999," which saw enthusiastic singalongs from the audience. For the encore, Mark engaged in a heartfelt group performance with his fans.
Reflecting on his first solo activities, Mark expressed,
“It feels like I’m growing ‘The Firstfruit’ well together with Czennie (fan club name). Every look and expression from the fans gave me strength.”
He further added,
“Your endless cheering and singalongs deeply moved me. I promise to keep bringing you great music and amazing performances. I hope we can be together for a long time.”
Mark will next join NCT 127 for their upcoming performances at Tokyo Dome on May 21–22, as part of their fourth world tour, ‘NEO CITY – THE MOMENTUM.’
