Major Cast Shake-Up for MBC’s Hangout With Yoo
The beloved variety show Hangout With Yoo is set for a fresh start, as it bids farewell to two of its popular female cast members. On May 22, the production team made a significant announcement that both Park Jin Joo and Lee Mi Joo will be leaving the show, paving the way for a new four-member lineup.
Park Jin Joo and Lee Mi Joo have been fan favorites, known for their incredible comic timing and musical talent. Lee Mi Joo joined the cast in August 2021, followed shortly by Park Jin Joo in September 2022. Together, they formed a dynamic duo that delighted audiences every Saturday.
In a statement, the production team shared the news of their departure:
“After discussions with the production team since the beginning of this year, Park Jin Joo and Lee Mi Joo have decided to leave the program.”
Their final filming took place on the same day, and fans can expect an emotional send-off in the upcoming episode, scheduled to air on May 31, KST.
