New Co-Ed Group ALLDAY’s Debut Track Sparks Mixed Reactions Online

ALLDAY is facing heavy backlash after their debut track “FAMOUS” dropped on June 16.

The new co-ed group from THE BLACK LABEL sparked major division online. Some praised the visuals and Annie’s vocals, calling the song a “banger” and “fire.”

Others slammed the track, calling it generic with weak lyrics and production. Many blamed Teddy for relying on a tired formula.

Fans expressed frustration over Youngseo leaving ILLIT to join ALLDAY, calling the debut a letdown.

A fan tweet summed it up bluntly:

Ynot:
“All that hype for this nonsense”

Another critic wrote:

David33:
“If Teddy can’t convince me in 50 seconds, I’m not listening his song longer. This is so bland, even a Marvel level VFX can’t fix it. The worst part is that so called ‘rap’ is so cringe as usual. The YG style songwriting goes hard again! I mean, what’s this?”

Additional fans accused the group’s video director, Tarzzan, of cultural appropriation. There were also claims the music video heavily used AI.

TheLifeOfAaeris:
“Sooooooo… good song imo… but… CA celebrated and blatently displayed in a MV majorly made with AI… cmon…”

ALLDAY debuted amid high expectations but quickly ran into controversy. The divide in public opinion shows the group’s rocky start.
