Netflix’s KPop Demon Hunters is winning fans, but the new official merch is sparking backlash over steep prices.
The film’s merch lineup includes replicas of the characters’ outfits seen on screen. Joggers, hoodies, polar bear sweatshirts, floral shirts, and even a quirky ab shirt are up for grabs.
Prices? Not cheap. Joggers and hoodies start at 79,000 KRW (~$57 USD). Mira’s polar bear sweatshirt is 87,000 KRW (~$63 USD). The floral shirt worn by the Saja Boys hits 87,000 KRW (~$63 USD) too. The ab shirt costs 63,000 KRW (~$45 USD).
Fans questioned if these price tags make sense for movie merch.

Some admitted they’re tempted despite the cost.

Others weren’t convinced.
