Everything shifts when she dreams of an upside-down man—a bad omen in shamanic belief—and meets transfer student Bae Gyunwoo, her exact type.
Seong Ah tries to protect Gyunwoo from the misfortune death omens signal. But Gyunwoo remains skeptical, hurt by shamans in the past. Seong Ah won’t reveal her true identity despite growing feelings.
The episode builds tension with supernatural encounters and a near-death clash with a vengeful water spirit. Seong Ah’s intervention causes a misunderstanding, ending the premiere on a dramatic cliffhanger.
