Jung Kyung-ho is making waves with his new series, ‘Oh My Ghost Clients’. The drama premiered on May 30 and has already hit a high note, debuting with a 4.1% nationwide viewership rating and peaking at 7.1%, according to Nielsen Korea.
The series quickly climbed to the No. 1 spot on Netflix Korea’s “Today’s Top 10 Series,” pushing aside tough competitors like JTBC’s ‘Good Boy’ and tvN’s ‘Unknown Seoul’.
‘Oh My Ghost Clients’ follows Mujin (Jung Kyung-ho), a labor attorney who can see ghosts after a near-death experience. He helps vengeful spirits resolve their unjust deaths, all while tackling serious labor issues with humor and heart.
Viewers are already responding strongly. The first two episodes include a poignant storyline about a high school intern who tragically dies in a machinery accident, shining a light on real labor tragedies.
Fans have taken to social media, praising the show’s emotional depth, with comments calling it “satisfying and tear-jerking.” Jung Kyung-ho’s performance is noted as “next level.”
Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Yim Soon-rye, this marks her debut in TV dramas. She expressed a deep sense of purpose in tackling labor issues through the series.
