DAY6 is facing backlash after fans at their 10th anniversary Asia tour concert complained of a strong poop stench ruining the show.
The band’s sold-out performance at Goyang Stadium on August 30 was reportedly engulfed by a foul fecal odor. Fans took to community platform TheQoo to vent frustration over the overwhelming smell that lasted throughout the event.
Local attendees were shocked, saying:
“The poop smell at the DAY6 concert was so bad, I thought maybe I pooped myself and didn’t know.”
Others noted how even DAY6 members appeared to react:
“I think one of the Day6 members tilted their head when the poop smell started spreading in the beginning.”
Despite speculation about nearby livestock farms, Goyang locals deny ever experiencing such a foul stench before.
Complaints also flooded X (formerly Twitter), with fans unable to focus on the music:
The unexpected variable of the DAY6 concert…
It was a fertilizer/poop smell…
It was so hard that I pulled out my yadom (Thai nasal inhaler) and held it up to my nose.

Another user praised the group’s professionalism:
The reason DAY6-oppas are pros:
They didn’t mention the poop even once in the middle ;;
If it were me, I wouldn’t have been able to hold back, I would’ve brought up the poop smell and completely ruined the mood..

Fans admitted the poor smell even reached the stadium’s second tier, making the show a challenge to endure.
This isn’t the first K-pop event to face poop-related issues. The 2024 Hanteo Music Awards had a similar odor problem, with idols visibly holding their noses. But unlike that case, nobody has yet claimed responsibility for the DAY6 concert stink.
One netizen pleaded:
Whoever pooped at the DAY6 concert venue, please turn yourself in.

The band powered through despite the stench, delivering a solid performance that fans still managed to enjoy — if not for the unforgettable smell.
