Pentagon’s Hui Addresses Contract Situation Following Facial Injury

PENTAGON's Hui Makes Decision About Contract Status Amidst Facial Injury

PENTAGON’s Hui has officially ended his exclusive contract with CUBE Entertainment.

On July 16, CUBE confirmed the news, saying they concluded their contract after discussions.

Hui debuted in 2016 as PENTAGON’s leader and main vocalist. He has also worked as a producer and solo artist.

Hui recently fractured his nasal bone while filming JTBC’s variety show Let’s Play Soccer 4. This injury forced him to pause activities.

CUBE promised to support Hui’s recovery despite the contract termination.

“Though our contract with Hui has ended, we will continue to support him in every way possible as he recovers from his injury. We are committed to helping him fully recover and return to good health. We thank Hui for his dedication and hard work, and ask for your warm support for the new journey he’s about to embark on. We will also sincerely cheer him on in his future endeavors.”

Hui is the second-last PENTAGON member to leave CUBE. Only Shinwon remains, currently serving in the military.
