Irene caught filming at BLACKPINK’s Goyang Stadium concert — despite strict no-filming rules.
On July 6, BLACKPINK wrapped up their DEADLINE encore shows at Goyang Stadium with a star-studded crowd. Among the celebs were Red Velvet’s Irene and Seulgi. Wendy was also invited but couldn’t attend.
A photo of Irene inside the venue quickly went viral. She was seen lifting her phone as if recording or taking photos during the performance.
The problem? Photography, video recording, and live streaming were strictly banned at the concert to protect content exclusivity.
Goyang Stadium had clearly stated:
“Photography, video recording, live streaming are all prohibited for BLACKPINK’s Goyang stadium shows.”
Fans jumped on the apparent rule break instantly. Social media exploded with jokes and reactions.
Some fans pointed out Irene’s close friendship with BLACKPINK’s Jennie, who has hosted her at many events.
Fan tweets capturing the vibe:
“Too pretty to be arrested ” — @trailingfate
“They just let her film whatever she want cos they know she will never upload it” — @renerene_143
“that’s def an Irene thing to do lol” — @msmeh_ek4
Despite the cheeky controversy, fans are mostly taking it as a sign of Irene’s genuine support for BLACKPINK — rule-breaking or not.
