2NE1’s Sandara Park reveals forced cosmetic procedures before debut

Sandara Park dropped bombshell details about forced cosmetic treatments right before 2NE1’s debut.

On JTBC’s Salty Dangpo, Sandara opened up about how the group was suddenly told to visit a dermatologist just one month before debut.

Sandara said:

“We poured a lot into our training and such, but a month before our debut, we were suddenly told to visit a dermatologist. So, we went, and we ended up getting fillers.”

The revelation exposes harsh industry standards trainees face — even before officially debuting.

Fellow guests Narsha and Chaeryeong also shared brutal plastic surgery pressures. Narsha recalled her company pushing her to get surgery just a week before a music show appearance, and expressed jealousy toward female artists from bigger agencies with better resources.

Sandara confirmed YG Entertainment’s intense focus on image:

“We invested a lot in our music videos and outfits.”

These stories highlight the persistent plastic surgery expectations behind K-pop idols’ looks. Fans continue to debate idol authenticity amid these pressures.

Stay tuned as the industry’s beauty standards keep fueling controversy.
