Rowoon has postponed his military enlistment after receiving a grade 7 health evaluation.
On July 17, FNC Entertainment announced that Rowoon underwent his physical exam two weeks before his scheduled July 21 enlistment. He received a grade 7 from the Military Manpower Administration, indicating severe health issues requiring a full reexamination.
"Rowoon immediately submitted an objection to the evaluation, and he has been scheduled for retesting in early August."
The agency stressed his willingness to serve and enlist as soon as possible.
If the re-exam again finds him unfit, Rowoon could be exempt from military service. However, if deemed suitable for public service duty, his military period would be longer, disrupting his plans to resume activities post-discharge.
Before this, Rowoon finished filming Disney+’s upcoming K-Drama The Murky Stream. He plays Jang Si Yul, a gangster in Joseon, with the show set to release later this year.
