BTS’s J-Hope revealed his ideal type during a recent appearance on YouTube’s 117 channel for the program ‘Sana’s Fridge Interview.’
J-Hope kicked things off with a cheeky remark, stating he was there "to promote my new song," which got everyone laughing. But the real buzz? His response to the question about his ideal type.
When asked, “What’s your ideal type?” J-Hope playfully confessed he hadn’t heard that question in "10 years." He then clarified,
“But I do have a clear answer. It has to be someone different from me.”
J-Hope elaborated on his preferences, emphasizing he prefers those who think differently.
“I feel a spark when someone has a different perspective from mine,” he shared. He provided an example of how he approaches things, adding, “If there’s a pear drink, I’d assume it contains pear. But when someone approaches it from a completely different angle, that difference in thinking excites me.”
He also touched on physical traits, saying,
“As for looks, I’m not really sure. I used to like people with a salamander-like appearance.”
Confused, Sana pressed for clarification, to which he nodded, saying,
“Rather than someone with very sharp features, I like someone with a soft, tofu-like impression.”
J-Hope’s insights drew attention not just to his personality but also to the group’s upcoming activities. With all BTS members except SUGA having completed their military service, anticipation for a full-group comeback is skyrocketing.
