ENHYPEN’s dorm broken into by sasaeng fans, HYBE issues legal warning

HYBE Labels confirmed a serious trespassing incident at ENHYPEN’s dormitory involving sasaeng fans. Unauthorized individuals illegally entered the group’s private residence and tried to film the members secretly. The company reported the breach to police immediately. The suspects were arrested on site and are under investigation for housebreaking and stalking violations under the Stalking Punishment Act.

HYBE is cooperating fully with authorities to ensure strict legal consequences.

“Recently, a serious case of stalking occurred in which individuals unlawfully entered an artist’s residence and illegally filmed the artist. Recognizing the severity of the situation, we immediately reported the suspects to the police at the scene for violations such as housebreaking and stalking crimes. The suspects were arrested on the spot and are currently under police investigation. We are actively cooperating with the investigation process to ensure that the suspects are appropriately punished in accordance with the relevant laws.” — HYBE statement

The label also exposed ongoing illegal sales of artists’ personal information online, especially on foreign platforms, including Chinese sites. HYBE said it is taking strong legal measures, including reporting these accounts to Chinese authorities.

Fans erupted online, demanding better protection for the group.
