Seunghan is returning as a solo artist after controversy. The former RIIZE member left the boy group amid backlash due to a privacy-related issue.
On June 9, SM Entertainment confirmed his upcoming solo debut, targeting July. This marks his comeback nine months after parting ways with RIIZE in October 2023.
Seunghan debuted with RIIZE in September 2023 but was pulled from activities just two months later. Initially, WIZARD Production announced plans for his return in October, but they reversed the decision within two days due to public outcry.
In a heartfelt handwritten letter, Seunghan stated:
"I understand how seriously many people feel about my return, and I also fully recognize the seriousness of this situation. I believe stepping away from the team is the best path for everyone. I don’t want to cause further confusion or pain to fans, nor do I want to bring any more harm to the members or the company."
Fans are eagerly awaiting his solo debut next month.
