Dino is making headlines for his recent real estate purchase. The Seventeen member dropped a staggering 9 billion KRW (about $6.5 million) on a high-end apartment in Seoul’s upscale Seongsu-dong neighborhood, setting a new record for that unit type.
According to Korea Economic TV, Dino acquired a 195-square-meter unit in the Galleria Foret complex back in April but completed the transfer of ownership just recently.
The hefty price tag is the highest ever recorded for that size in the building. Official records show that a mortgage of 6.16 billion KRW (around $4.45 million) was registered for the property. Analysts believe Dino likely secured a loan around 5.6 billion KRW (approximately $4.10 million), factoring in standard guarantee limits.
Galleria Foret is a hotspot for celebrities, with residents like actors Han Ye Seul and Kim Soo Hyun. Earlier this year, TV personality Jang Young Ran and her husband grabbed the spotlight with a joint purchase of a 218-square-meter unit in the same building for 9.45 billion KRW ($6.98 million).
Dino’s eye-popping purchase highlights his personal success and the ongoing demand for luxury real estate among Korea’s elite.
