Seventeen’s Mingyu and Hoshi Join Samuel Kim for New “Rockstar” Challenges
In a heartwarming show of brotherly support, Samuel Kim has enlisted the help of his big brothers from Seventeen, Mingyu and Hoshi, to create fun new challenges for his latest track, “Rockstar.”
On May 22 KST, Samuel dropped the exciting challenge videos, capturing playful moments with both Mingyu and Hoshi. In the clip with Mingyu, he noted,
“Make sure to watch until the end! This was fun to film thanks to my brother Mingyu hyung.”
Meanwhile, his energetic challenge with Hoshi included the enthusiastic shout,
“The coolest tiger out there!! Hoshi hyung let’s get it!!”
showcasing their strong camaraderie.
Samuel Kim’s journey has been unique; after training at Pledis Entertainment, he was originally set to debut with Seventeen. However, due to his young age, he was cut from the final lineup. He later made his debut in another group, before gaining widespread recognition as a contestant on Mnet’s popular survival show, Produce 101 season 2. Just recently, he released his digital single “Rockstar” on May 9 KST, further establishing his footprint in the music scene.
As for Seventeen, fans are eagerly anticipating their upcoming return to the music world. The group is set to drop their fifth full album, Happy Burstday, on May 26 at 6 PM KST.
