Big news for fans of Rowoon! The talented actor and former member of the K-pop group SF9 is set to begin his military service this summer. On May 27, his agency, FNC Entertainment, shared the announcement, revealing that Rowoon will enter a training camp on July 21 to serve as an active-duty soldier in the Army.
Before he heads off, Rowoon is gearing up for a special fan meeting titled ‘Before Blooming’, scheduled for May 31 at the Donghae Culture and Arts Center of Kwangwoon University in Seoul. This event will be a heartfelt chance for him to connect with fans one last time before his enlistment.
Rowoon first captured our hearts when he debuted in 2016 as the lead vocalist of SF9. After parting ways with FNC in 2023, he shifted his focus fully to acting and has built quite the impressive resume. Some of his most notable drama roles include projects like ‘School 2017’, ‘Where Stars Land’, ‘Extraordinary You’, ‘Find Me in Your Memory’, ‘She Would Never Know’, ‘The King’s Affection’, and ‘Destined with You’. Currently, he’s also eagerly awaiting the premiere of his new Disney+ original series, ‘Turbid’.
