In a significant move, investigators even searched the medical clinic frequented by Ms. Yang to retrieve original medical documentation she had previously submitted. Unfortunately for authorities, this search did not yield any incriminating evidence against her.

Some supporters believe Ms. Yang may have initially reached out to Son regarding the alleged pregnancy, received money without any ulterior motives, and later signed a nondisclosure agreement (NDA) in the process.
