Song Hayoon faces fresh legal heat as alleged school bullying victim “A” returns to Korea to sue.
The controversy erupted again on August 25 with “A” revealing email exchanges with Song Hayoon’s agency. “A” says they never wanted this to turn into a dispute and even proposed ending all legal action with dignity.
But talks fell apart over expenses. “A” flew premium economy at their own cost, later agreeing to Song Hayoon’s offer to cover up to 1,200,000 KRW (~$865.82 USD) for airfare and 300,000 KRW (~$216.45 USD) for three nights lodging.
Song’s side excluded rental car costs as “personal use” and only offered partial expense settlement.
“I will prepay all expenses, including airfare, lodging, and transportation, and settle all expenses in full upon arrival. Future related costs will be handled through separate legal procedures.
Song Hayoong’s side represented it as paying 100% of the total, but in reality, it is only a partial settlement within a limited scope. Even with simple calculations, I will have to bear at least six times more than Song Hayoon’s limited support.”

Currently in Korea, “A” plans to file complaints exposing institutional cover-ups, targeting the Office of Education and Banpo High School. They’re preparing a massive damages claim of ₩10.0 billion KRW (about $7.22 million USD).
“I had no intention of making this into a dispute from the beginning. After the third statement, I suggested to her law firm that we cease all legal action and resolve the matter with dignity.”

This is not a personal vendetta, “A” says, but a fight to uphold judicial order and public interest.
Last month, Song Hayoon filed a defamation complaint against “A,” fueling the bitter back-and-forth.
