Taeil is facing serious legal trouble after admitting guilt in an aggravated rape case.
On June 18, the first trial for ex-NCT member Taeil was held. Taeil and two acquaintances pled guilty to the charges.
The prosecution demanded a seven-year jail sentence for each perpetrator.
Details of Taeil’s activities after being ousted from NCT and SM Entertainment were revealed.
Taeil was removed from NCT on August 28 last year, following initial police questioning. Despite being kicked out, he still attended group events and held a birthday livestream.
His contract with SM ended soon after, leaving him without a label. Taeil says he’s been working part-time jobs since.
“I was kicked out of my agency after working as a singer, and I am currently working part-time jobs.”
