Teddy, Producer for BLACKPINK, Allegedly Developing a New Co-Ed Group

The Black Label Co-ed Group

The Black Label is launching a new co-ed group. The announcement comes from a media report on June 6 KST.

Led by BLACKPINK’s producer Teddy, this initiative aims to breathe new life into co-ed groups in K-pop. While K-pop saw success with co-ed groups in the 90s and early 2000s, there hasn’t been much movement since. The last notable one was KARD, formed by DSP Media in 2017.

The Black Label is currently home to big names like Taeyang of Big Bang, Rosé of BLACKPINK, Jeon So Mi, and MEOVV.

Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting project!
