A teenage girl fell from a 13-story building rooftop in Gwangju, Gyeonggi Province on July 7, killing a teenage girl walking below.
The fall happened around 2:30 PM in the city’s Gyeongandong area. Three people were near the building: a mother, her teenage daughter, and a man in his 20s.
The teenage daughter died on the spot. The falling teenager, identified as “A,” and the mother were both taken to the hospital in cardiac arrest. Their current conditions are unknown.
The man in his 20s was injured in the shoulder and other areas. He is currently receiving hospital treatment.
The teenager who fell had visited a psychiatric clinic in the same building earlier that day.
Police are investigating the exact cause and circumstances of the incident.
