Perry, a key early YG Entertainment producer who wrote songs for BIGBANG and other top artists, has been missing since 2010.
He contributed heavily to YG’s sound, producing tracks for Jinusean, 1TYM, Se7en, Lexy, and Wheesung. His famous works include Lexy’s “Aesong-i,” 1TYM’s “One Time for Your Mind,” and BIGBANG’s debut track “We Belong Together.”
Perry’s last known appearance was in South Korea in 2010 before reportedly leaving for the U.S. He cut off all contact with colleagues and family. Since 2013, there have been no contracts, no activities, and no confirmed sightings.
In 2021, an anonymous post from someone close to Perry declared him missing.
"The family filed a missing person report in the United States, but there has been no progress or updates from the authorities."
A forum user claimed family members even searched areas where people live off-grid or homeless but found nothing.
Someone claiming to be a close acquaintance posted on the Choice 37 fan site:
"Perry’s whereabouts remain entirely unknown and even those who toured with him in the past have no information."
It’s been over 10 years since Perry disappeared. No concrete leads have surfaced. Authorities say they can do little without evidence of foul play or Perry contacting them. Perry holds U.S. citizenship, further complicating the case.
Fans and family remain hopeful, but Perry’s disappearance remains a mystery.
