TWS is making headlines with a brand-new digital cover on NME!

On June 30, NME spotlighted the rising K-pop boy group in a feature article. The six members flaunt colorful, casual looks, radiating youthful charm and energy.

TWS made waves since their debut with “Plot Twist” last year, quickly gaining fans worldwide. NME called their music “bright and hopeful,” noting how it delivers comforting stories about growing up.

In their virtual interview with NME, Kyungmin stated,

“Our music captures the emotions of an immature and uncertain time, but also includes curiosity and the power of positivity.”

Jihoon chimed in,

“‘Boyhood Pop,’ our signature genre, isn’t just about being bright or refreshing. It’s about telling stories that we, right now, can genuinely relate to."

The group’s strong bond shone through. Leader Shinyu shared,

“We’re sure to face challenges ahead, but I want to learn how to overcome those with strength."

This year, TWS is ranked among the most promising groups globally. They’re the only K-pop boy group on “The NME 100: Essential Emerging Artists for 2025” and also snagged Billboard’s K-pop Rookie of the Month for January.

Next up, TWS is set for global expansion! They will release their Japanese debut single “Nice to see you again” (Japanese title: はじめまして) on July 2. The track is poised to capture summer vibes and elevate their status as new “youth icons” in the industry.
