Virtual Idol Group PLAVE Threatens Legal Action Against Stalkers and Those Seeking Members’ Personal Information

Virtual idol group PLAVE warns strict legal action and punishment for individuals stalking the members + obtaining their private information

On May 15 KST, VLAST, the agency managing virtual K-Pop boy group PLAVE, announced legal measures to protect the rights and privacy of their members amidst rising incidents of harassment.

According to the agency’s statement, they are actively monitoring malicious activities such as insults, defamation, and privacy invasions against the group. VLAST provided updates on ongoing lawsuits against individuals who have targeted the members. The perpetrators of previous cases have faced penalties, while new suspects are currently under police investigation.

“VLAST would like to make clear that it is consistently monitoring any and all accounts of malicious activity targeting the members of PLAVE,” the statement read.

“In March of 2025, VLAST pursued another series of lawsuits against individuals infringing on the rights of the PLAVE members by exposing their identities online.”

Additionally, the agency highlighted incidents of alleged fans stalking the members, emphasizing that such behavior is illegal and harmful. VLAST is collecting evidence, including CCTV footage, to pursue severe legal repercussions against stalkers.

“There is absolutely no justification for anyone obtaining or sharing private information about the members,” VLAST reiterated.

The agency thanked fans for their ongoing support in reporting harmful incidents and committed to continuing efforts to safeguard the group’s rights.

In other news, PLAVE recently released teaser photos for their upcoming Japanese debut single, “Hide & Seek,” scheduled for digital release on June 16 JST and physical release on July 9 JST.
