Actor Lee Jong Hyuk sparked talk when he appeared on EXO Xiumin’s YouTube show.
He disclosed that his son was scouted by Starship Entertainment to become an idol trainee after showing interest in dance and broadcasting.
Despite encouragement, Lee Jong Hyuk shared that his son quit training because he couldn’t sleep from the intense training and school schedule.
Lee Jong Hyuk also said this lack of sleep might have stunted his son’s growth. He added that child actors tend to be short due to sleep deprivation.
