Hyunjin is caught in a scam drama after a fake brand collab with global retailer MANGO.
The former LOONA member who now manages her career solo through Triangle ENM announced a deal with MANGO just days ago. She hyped fans up with texts saying:
Hyunjin: “Mango”
Hyunjin: “I got an ad deal, hehe.”
Hyunjin: “A collab!”
Hyunjin: “Just signed the contract!”
Hyunjin: “Everything’s going so well.”
Hyunjin: “It’s kind of scary, honestly.”
Fans were excited, especially after her journey post-LOOSSEMBLE disbandment. But the mood flipped hard when Hyunjin revealed the truth.
She later confessed:
Hyunjin: “I got scammed.”
Hyunjin: “The mango brand collab I told you about last time.”
Hyunjin: “It wasn’t real.”
Hyunjin: “I did [lose money].”
Hyunjin: “700,000 won.”
Hyunjin: “Yeah, I got scammed…”
Hyunjin: “All I can say is just… Wow.”
Hyunjin plans to report the scam. Fans expressed major concern, calling out the real MANGO to take action against the impersonators — and some even urged the brand to work with Hyunjin for real.
@mango hey, my cousin hyunjin just got scammed by someone pretending to be your company. she was so excited about the collab, would you maybe consider giving her a real one?

Others warned Hyunjin about going solo:
She needs a team. If she keeps working alone she’ll end up in a very big mess .. she luckily only lost a small amount of money, but it could’ve gone worse

The incident is gaining traction as fans watch closely and hope for a safer path forward for Hyunjin.
