Well-Known K-Drama Actress Ends Silence, Responds to School Bullying Allegations

Popular K-Drama Actress Finally Breaks Long Silence, Addresses Her School Bully Accusation

Go Min Si faces intense bullying allegations over middle school behavior

Months ago, Tastefully Yours lead actress Go Min Si was accused of severe school violence by her alleged middle school classmates. The accusations included “repeatedly committed school violence, extortion, verbal abuse, and mocked and threatened students with disabilities,” plus gathering local bullies to engage in violence, and stealing classmates’ belongings and money.

Her agency, MYSTIC STORY, quickly denied the claims. Go Min Si stayed silent amid growing speculation — until August 30, 2025 (KST), when she broke her silence on Instagram, calling the allegations “fabricated words.”

Go Min Si:
“For the past several months, I’ve endured and held on, trying to calm my heart that trembled countless times a day while waiting only for the results of the investigation.
But now, I feel it would be wrong to stay silent any longer, especially for those who have been waiting, so I am speaking up.”

She admitted to “little mischiefs” as a teen but firmly denied any school violence.

Go Min Si:
“I will admit to what is true, but I will not accept what is not. To be absolutely clear: I have never committed school violence.”

She acknowledged the difficulties in proving such cases, saying she has submitted all possible evidence and emphasized the seriousness of real school violence.

Go Min Si:
“School violence, a grave social issue, must be strictly punished. But twisting and weaponizing such an issue with lies only undermines the seriousness of genuine school violence cases.”

Her post sparked fierce debate online. Some comment sections stressed waiting for the investigation outcome and differentiated being a “delinquent” from school violence, while others dismissed her statements, citing her prior underage drinking scandal and reputation.

Mixed opinions flooded forums like theqoo:

  • “It’s true that victims remember, but her being a delinquent and school violence are two separate things.”
  • “If you’re going to wait, then just wait. Don’t defend her meanwhile.”
  • “She should take responsibility for delinquency, but actual victims would be a different story.”
  • “Even if she says ’little mischiefs,’ that’s hilarious given the severity of the allegations.”

Others called out biased support compared to male celebrities with worse scandals.

“Some male celebrities did way worse and are still promoting fine. It’s not like she committed an actual crime—why can’t we support Go Min Si?”
“If you’re going to stay neutral, then just shut up. Shielding delinquents while pretending to be neutral is just as bad as crazy celebrity stans.”

This follows Go Min Si’s previous public admission and apology for underage drinking.

The investigation is ongoing as fans and netizens remain divided over the truth behind the school violence claims.
