Ju Haknyeon is facing a scandal involving a Japanese former pornstar, Asuka Kirara.
The two were reported meeting with acquaintances at a Tokyo bar on May 30. Online rumors quickly spiraled into prostitution suspicions.
Ju Haknyeon denied all allegations and posted a handwritten apology admitting his presence but denying illegal acts.
Asuka Kirara debuted in adult videos in 2007 and won multiple awards, including at the 2009 Sky PerfecTV! Adult Broadcasting Awards. She held fan meetings in Korea in 2017 and 2018 and snagged a 2023 special award at the 11th Korea Arts and Culture Awards.
This isn’t Ju Haknyeon’s first connection to Kirara. An old tabloid report resurfaced linking her to Hey! Say! JUMP’s Inoo Kei eight years ago. Both agencies dismissed rumors after the two were seen together in Singapore.
More drama: Kirara openly dated YouTuber Hilock, who is 12 years her junior and has disabilities. She revealed this relationship in 2024.
