Park Hyung Sik sparks controversy calling BTS’s V “immature maknae”

Park Hyung Sik went viral after a clip of him describing the Wooga Squad’s family roles surfaced on Twitter. The Wooga Squad includes BTS’s V, Park Seo Joon, Peakboy, Choi Woo Shik, and himself.

He labeled Park Seo Joon as the father figure and Peakboy the eldest son. Choi Woo Shik was the mischievous middle brother. And BTS’s V? He called him the immature maknae (youngest brother). Park Hyung Sik placed himself as the “mother” of the group, saying he always takes care of everyone.

The clip ignited debate online about what fans consider appropriate behavior. Many pointed out V’s solo fans would never accept the phrase “immature maknae” coming from other members.

“If BTS had gone on an interview and listed everyone’s quality, then slapped tae’s own with ‘immature maknae’, y’all would have called down fire and brimstones on their head.”
