BLACKPINK is facing controversy over the “zero visibility” N3 section at their recent concert.
YG Entertainment issued an apology on July 7. They said,
“We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused to audience members in the N3 section during BLACKPINK’s concert last weekend, where the view of the stage was significantly obstructed.”
The company added,
“Although we installed extended LED screens to improve the viewing experience due to the console setup in front of the N3 area, it regrettably did not resolve the issue as intended. We are currently preparing follow-up measures for those who reported discomfort with the seating. Further details will be provided through the ticketing platform.”
BLACKPINK held their BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR IN GOYANG at Goyang Sports Complex Main Stadium on July 5 and 6.
The controversy began when fans in the N3 section found their view completely blocked by large screens placed directly in front of them. Despite facing the stage, attendees couldn’t see any of the members during the show.
A vague warning during ticketing mentioned potential “view obstruction due to equipment.” However, no clear notice indicated these were zero-visibility seats.
Tickets for the N3 section sold for around 130,000 KRW (approx. $95 USD), leading many fans to demand refunds.
