Yuqi is stepping up as the main producer for Cube Entertainment’s new boy group, NOWZ.
This marks her debut as a producer for another artist. Yuqi wasn’t just behind the scenes — she wrote lyrics, composed, and featured in NOWZ’s debut single, “Fly to the Youth.”
The rookie group consists of five members: Hyunbin, Yoon, Yeonwoo, Jinhyuk, and Siyoon. They pre-released the track on June 17 ahead of their mini album IGNITION.
Yuqi said she made the song to capture the youthful vibe of the group and called it “my gift to my juniors.” She also helped direct the concept film for NOWZ’s debut, even coming up with the idea for members to cry in the film.

Fans are hyped for Yuqi’s producer role, seeing her follow in the footsteps of groupmate Soyeon, known for her production and songwriting.
