ZICO drops new single ‘EKO EKO’ with m-flo
ZICO (지코) just dropped a hot new single, ‘EKO EKO’, teaming up with legendary Japanese group m-flo. Released today at midnight, this just adds to ZICO’s already packed year.
The track is a love song using a cosmic metaphor. It tells the story of two beings in different universes connecting through a shared emotional frequency. The lyrics mix Korean, Japanese, and English, underscoring how love transcends distance and language.
ZICO was hands-on with this project, handling both lyrics and composition. Notably, he wrote the Japanese rap himself, receiving accolades for his multilingual flow.
‘EKO EKO’ is part of m-flo’s ‘loves’ series celebrating their 25th anniversary.
Earlier this year, ZICO made waves with features on Ash Island’s ‘괜찮아 (Feat. ZICO)’ and Giriboy’s ‘My Job is Cool (Feat. ZICO, J-Tong)’. He also co-wrote BLACKPINK’s Jennie’s ‘like JENNIE’ and served as executive producer for BOYNEXTDOOR’s mini album ‘No Genre’, which exceeded one million sales.
